Walt Disney World's newest restaurant Space 220 will be opening September 20th.
The Space 220 restaurant takes fine dining to a whole new level. Located in Epcot near the Mission: SPACE Ride, the immersive dining experience begins as you check in to the Space 220 Departure Lounge in Future World. Guests will board one of two “Space Elevators” that will transport them to what seems like 220 miles above Earth to Centauri Space Station. On the "Space Elevator" guests will be able to look down through a viewport to see EPCOT shrink away; looking up they'll see the Space Station come into view.
Once docked, guests will head to the Centauri Space Station-themed dining area. Inside the dining area, guests will be surrounded by a panoramic view of Earth below, as well as space station activities taking place outside the restaurant windows.
The Space 220 restaurant menu will feature a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch, and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner. Menu options and reservations have not yet been released for the restaurant, when they do become available they should be listed on Disney's website here .
